Dolphin swim recommendations??

We have booked DD for our upcoming trip. It is associated with Chankanaab National Park. From what we've read, it is supposed to be a nice park and the animals are relatively well kept (as well as any captive dolphin can be).

We did the dolphin swim in Tortolla a number of years ago and it was fantastic....hoping this is equally so!

editing as I forgot to say: if you book through their website, they are having a sale through this Friday.

Chankanaab

We have done this excursion our last two years of cruising-----2012-2013.

We did it again because we had a great time!

in 2012 we were able to take our own water camera and shoot pictures.

Not the case in 2013, they were very strict.

The only draw back to this excursion is that the picture package is overlly priced.....It was over $150 for the package.

You could buy individual pictures, and we broke down and bought one and it was still a lot.

Do the excursion, you will love it.

Take $$$$$$$$$$$$ or plastic if you plan on buying the package.

Thank you Sue....I'll deal with the picture prices (I'm sure I'll have a heart attack there!) but happy to hear you had a great experience at DD!

just a quiet comment about pictures.

Wait until EVERYONE has purchased pictures that wants them. THEN approach the photographers and BARTER! Our experience was that they want to sell them for whatever they can get ( a low sale is better than NO sale). We got a huge discount on ours! Remember, you can always say "no" and walk away!
