Beach near the Marriott where Snorkel Trips go? Help please!

Hi everyone!

 

The last few years, we have taken a Tiami snorkel trip in Barbados which is awesome! This year, we'd like to take a taxi to the beach where some of the snorkel trips go. It's by the Marriott resort (I believe). Does anyone happen to know what it's called and/or anything about it? The beach is gorgeous!!!

You might be thinking of Carlisle Bay, which is a popular turtle snorkeling destination.

 

The Courtyard Marriott is about halfway between the Hilton (located at the south end of Carlisle Bay) and Accra.

 

If you take a taxi to Carlisle Bay (about 5 minutes from port), you will have no trouble finding someone with a boat to take you out to the turtles for $20.
