Hotels in February $$$$$

You might check out the Homewood Suites aor other extended stay hotels that can accomodate you - not the great location of the ES, but probably not $360 either.

I have only had good luck with Priceline much closer to my desired date when the hotels can see unsold inventory and start dumping rooms; you are almost 6 months out and looking at a high demand date during tourist season -- it is WAY too early to be trying Priceline.

Good luck! :)

I have booked the Embassy Suites, to share a room with another couple is still $360.00, I was wondering if I was too early, but sheeshhhh !!! lol

WOW

And I thought July would be more.

We just booked the Embassy for $109.00, but by the time you throw in all the taxes it will be more.

The high season in South Florida is during the winter when a good portion of the country is covered in snow :p and they aren't. Summer is the low season (hot, humid and chance of hurricanes) and you can get great deals then.

I priced out for you Embassy Suites 2-21-14 at Last Minute Travel Club (free membership offer still might be available) and got:

2 people= approx. $225.00

4 people= approx. $245.00

I tried pricing directly with ES and through Hilton Honors/MVP for my 2 nights post-cruise in early Oct and LMTC had the best rate at $245.84 for two of us 2 nights inc. all taxes.

July is off season for us.

To the OP, it is quite probable that the Embassy will have have anything for priceline during your dates.

If you want the Embassy, book it traditionally. Your dates are absolute peak season.

Even on priceline it will be over $200

We decided to go cheaply, booked a Holiday express for $150.00 per night, and that way we have our own room.We fly from Canada and won't arrive at hotel before 9pm the night before cruise, so not much time to enjoy anything but a bed after 13 hours of travelling. Thanks to all for their suggestions!!

We would love to get it for that price. We need a hotel for March 12 - 15th for 3 nights before our cruise.

How did you know you were getting the Renaissance when you booked it on Hotwire ?

Any tips would be appreciated.

We just booked the Renaissance for $100 plus tax on Hotwire for Sunday, March 9th.
