has anyone successfully used local tours, where did you go was it worth it, fun and how much and did they get back to ship on time?

Dominican Republic...Seavis Tours.....to Saona Island.....boat ride, beach, snorkelong out to a pier (where my kids saw awesome fish)...lunch, boat ride to sandbar to "swim with the star fish" Got back to the ship on time with no problem.....You have to find your taxi....which is outside a gate...

You may want to head over to the ports of call board and see what is listed there. I also use Trip Advisor and have went on same great shore excursions that I checked out there first.

Cruised the Breeze in February and used Marva Shaw in Ocho. Number 1 on trip,advisor. Took us wherever we wanted, took us to "safe" shopping places, and of course delivered us back to the ship in plenty of time.
