Solos meeting other solos

Can someone explain to me how does Carnival arrange for other Solos to meet other solos for dining etc? how that system work?

There is a board dedicated to solo cruisers in case you didn't know. I will be experiencing my first solo cruise in a couple of weeks.

 

In the past, I have read in the fun times "singles meet" etc. Solo cruising doesn't mean you are single always however. I have read that at dining times, solo cruisers are often seated together. I'm not aware of any/much more than that.
