Can't figure out how to order soda card.

I see the soda program on Gifts and more but I don't see how to order it What am I missing?? Thanks for any help

You can purchase it when you board the ship.

You're better off buying it on the ship when you board so that you can use it during lunch.

 

If you order it online you have to wait til you're in your cabin to get it.

I remember they had a table set up on one of the ships I went on and that it when I bought a soda card! Might not do it that way anymore~~check and see!:)

Yes, they have a display set up either right before you board the ship or right when you get on the ship. You can't miss it. They usually have cups stacked up.

They have lots of chances to buy when you board.

 

I would wait for a few reasons:

 

-what if I change my mind

-what if I decide to take soda

-what if....

 

I just see no reason to give somebody my money in advance

There is at least one: taxes. VAT on at least European itineraries departing from Spain (at least in port, sometimes during the whole cruise) and sales tax while in port in US (at least in Florida).

 

I just see no reason to pay up to 10% more onboard if I could have the sticker bought cheaper in advance.

Always buy mine onboard, sorta depends on the type of drinking I'm in the mood for. Could a week of lots of wine or maybe lots of soda.

You can just give NCL a call and buy the soda package. That's what we always do.

 

Yes, if you purchase it ahead of time, you may have to wait until you get to your room to get your certificate to take down to have the sticker put on, but if you are doing lunch right when you board, there are still other options of "free" drinks for that one time if you want.

 

If you wait until you board the ship (and are still in port), you will pay taxes on the card. If you wait until the ship leaves, it will actually be longer than waiting for them to let you in your room to get your certificate for the sticker.

 

Just a few thoughts... :)
