CodyC815 Posted September 6, 2013 #4 Share Posted September 6, 2013 Nice! I love old advertisements. Also, the days when smoking on balconies wasn't an issue because there were no balconies :D
cruiserhal Posted September 6, 2013 #5 Share Posted September 6, 2013 I actually recognized some people from our early Song of America days. Fantastic!

CRUZBUDS Posted September 6, 2013 #7 Share Posted September 6, 2013 I'm transfering old videos right now -- any one remember the "Behind the Scenes" short from the 80's -- We saw it the first time on the Song of Norway 1986. We bought a copy when we got home Smoking on balconies was no problem back then, but smoking in the dinning room was. We were at a non-smoking table, but the table next to ours was smoking (and they all did)

Canadian Tyler Posted September 6, 2013 #9 Share Posted September 6, 2013 Cool video. Almost as old as the casino video they play on the cabin TV's...or the tipping video. ;)

Philly Steve Posted September 9, 2013 #21 Share Posted September 9, 2013 Does anyone know which ship that might be? Thanks for the video link. It was great! Looks like Song of America. Royals Carol Posted September 9, 2013 #22 Share Posted September 9, 2013 The aesthetics have changed, but still looked like fun: I love it.. It looks fun!! Maybe companies should think about going retro at time. Advertising this way makes you feel like they want you to have fun and not nickle and dime you to death... For me, I want to have fun!!! 40 days and I will be on my way to Florida!!!
Rare shipshape sam Posted September 9, 2013 #23 Share Posted September 9, 2013 Still a good commercial, just update the hair styles. :) Liked the tag line too.
Barb Nahoumi Posted September 9, 2013 #24 Share Posted September 9, 2013 I love vintage commercials. You tube does make it possible to recall fun-stuff from our past. No doubt, you dressed "To the Nines," for dinner in those days.
