Which stateroom type on Oasis?

Recommended Posts

We're considering a cruise on Oasis and we're trying to figure out what category stateroom to book. We'd like a balcony, but ocean view ones are quite expensive. I've heard Boardwalk view balcony staterooms can be quite noisy, so we're thinking about a Central Park view balcony. Has anyone had any experience with these? If so, can you please let us know your thoughts (positive and negative) and any other recommendations you might have. Thanks! :)

We were on the Oasis in June. My DH and I had a JS ocean balcony but our daughters were across the hall in CP. They enjoyed the view and people watching. It was breathtaking view from their balcony especially at night. Can't comment personally about Boardwalk but there are more kids, activity and noise in that area. Not sure how it is for sleeping.

Just got of Oasis, we had a boardwalk stateroom on deck 14. It wasnt noisy, yes you could hear things that were going on around but not enough to be a nuisance. It was great fun to watch people on the zip wire and see down to the Aqua Theatre.

we had a deck 12 Boardwalk balcony near the aqua theater and had the same experience. we booked boardwalk again for an upcoming Allure cruise. we thought it was fun and the noise did not bother us.

Sensitivity to noise varies, though. OP, if you are sensitive to noise, a Central Park balcony will likely be much quieter with a serene view. you will not be able to see the ocean, but you will be able to see some sky.
