MTD - where to find on my reservation?

Recommended Posts

When you log into "My Cruises" and select the particular booking number, near the bottom, under the list of "Pre-Cruise Planner" options, is "Preferences & Requests". There, it should say something like "Dinner Seating: My Time Dining, No Waitlists".

Ah...I saw that, but was not sure what it meant. When I printed my cruise docs, it said "6:00pm" but under the preferences it said "My Family Time Dining, 5:30pm". So, I was not sure if preferences was just preferences in general or not. But, I called RCI just a few minutes ago, and the MFTD @ 5:30pm is the correct time. She told me that my dining time has moved numerous times over the past few weeks, so maybe when I printed the docs, it was at 6:00pm.

Is 5:30pm too soon for MFTD?

My understanding is that My Family Time Dining is often earlier than regular dining in order to get the kids in and out quickly so they can go off and do Adventure Ocean activities while the adults enjoy the rest of their dinner more leisurely. It is somewhat different from regular My Time Dining which is closer to the traditional dining experience.

I've not had it myself, so I'm just going by what I think I've read.
