M-Class Cabin Information Compilation - PLEASE - DO NOT POST CABIN QUESTIONS HERE!!!

Recommended Posts

SHIP: Infinity, Oct 2018

CABIN #: 6030

DECK #: 6

CLASS: Balcony 2C

AREA: Near a bank of elevators

BED NEAR: Door

QUIET?: Yes

BALCONY VIEW: Restricted, the suites restrict view aft, and there was a washing gantry of some sorts in front of the next cabin. Direct view into suite if blinds in suite are open.

BALCONY SIZE: Sweet 16, big balcony!  Half covered.  Standing by rail you are visible to cabins above you, but we never saw anyone out there when we were and it was not a concern.  Balcony had 3 chairs and a table out there, no loungers.

WIND A PROBLEM?: No

SOOT A PROBLEM?: No

PROBLEMS/COMMENTS: No issues, great cabin!  Balcony door was hard to pull open/closed, not sure if they are all like that.

Infinity, 5 nights, November 10, 2018

CABIN #: 6143

DECK #: 6

CLASS: Concierge C1

AREA: Aft - almost to the end of ship

BED NEAR: Bathroom

QUIET?: Yes

BALCONY VIEW: Very nice, unobstructed - nothing below.

BALCONY SIZE: Big & fully covered (part of it by canvas). Only 2 chairs and no foot stools available. It was nice to hang out there in the morning (or after shower)

WIND A PROBLEM?: No

SOOT A PROBLEM?: No

PROBLEMS/COMMENTS: I shared the room with my parents. Sofa turned into bed the entire time, so we used the balcony as "sitting area" at times. Attendant was great. No issue with balcony door, or water pressure/temp. Bathroom is tiny but that's every room. Definitely will choose this room again

BALCONY VIEW: Wake

BALCONY SIZE: Very large!

WIND A PROBLEM?: No, except during extreme storm (which we had on this cruise).

SOOT A PROBLEM?: No

PROBLEMS/COMMENTS: This is an accessible cabin with a large bathroom and flat shower.

Ship: Constellation

Cabin: 3126

Deck: 3

Class: Oceanview (Cat 6)

Area/Location: Midship

Bed Location / View: Wall-facing

Quiet? Yes-ish - Location-wise it's a very quiet place to be however there was a constant humming noise which took a while to get used too

Balcony/Porthole View: Excellent

Balcony/Porthole Size: Large

Wind a Problem? No

Soot a Problem? No

Problems / Comments: This is one of the newer cabins on the ship, located where the cinema and part of the conference centre used to be.  It's on a short corridor which leads from the atrium to the rear stairs/lifts which only really serves Q-Sine (also excellent!)  The window is massive and the only real problem we had was the humming noise mentioned above but you did get used to that and we would probably have not noticed it had we not moved from an inside cabin

Ship: Summit

Cabin: 6122

Deck: 6

Class: Sky Suite 2

Area/Location: Aft-Starboard

Bed Location / View: Sea-facing

Quiet? Yes

Balcony View: Slightly Obstructed (see photo below)

Balcony Size: Standard for Suite; small round table, 2 chairs, NO foot rests (which was a surprise)

Wind a Problem?  No

Soot a Problem?   No

Problems / Comments:  Nice cabin with all the suite amenities.  Butler Peter was phenomenal.

Location of 6122 - note that to the left of this cabin, view obstruction becomes less and less.  To the right, the lifeboats.  We were not bothered with the slightly obstructed view (having to look out (vs. down) to the sea).  A quiet cabin in a convenient location.

CABIN #: 2184

DECK #:2

CLASS: Ocean view 07

AREA:

BED NEAR: Window

QUIET?: Yes

BALCONY VIEW: N/A

BALCONY SIZE: N/A

WIND A PROBLEM?: No

SOOT A PROBLEM?:  No

PROBLEMS/COMMENTS:  I do not know if the new refurb. cabins are different but a of now the image looks the same as it did when we sailed. The Celebrity web site picture is NOT the actual cabin layout. The image shows the bed inboard with the seating area outboard. The actual cabin, and all in this area have the beds directly under the window. This makes it very difficult to look out of. As well it also means that the headboard is only about 9 inches above the mattress, very difficult to put a pillow against for reading before bed.

Summit 2017

CABIN #: 6144

DECK 6

CLASS Concierge Class C1

AREA Aft between suites. Aft of the Aft Stairs/Elevator.

BED NEAR On aft wall facing forward

QUIET: Yes

BALCONY VIEW: Excellent/Unobstructed. Starboard side near the back of the ship. There is a crew corridor on the forward (left) side of the balcony with a door that can be opened. Sometimes we saw ship crew power washing the balconies - that corridor is their access. Balcony is deeper than usual. We had a table and three chairs. No footstools or recliners.

WIND A PROBLEM: No

SOOT A PROBLEM: No

PROBLEMS/COMMENTS: No problems. The stateroom attendant was wonderful and very attentive, as you would expect in the suite area. The cabin sleeps two in regular bed(s) and one in a pull-out loveseat.

Thank you!  We will have this room on the Infinity in April...

Balcony/Porthole view. Unobstructed, but rather overlooked when in port

Balcony/Porthole Size: Standard,

Wind a Problem? Yes, No (if no, use comments)

Problems / Comments: Quiet cabin except that the public address announcements came through very loudly.  We asked to have it turned down, but they were still 'looking into it' when we left the ship.  Otherwise a great cabin.
