js Posted September 11, 2013 #1 Share Posted September 11, 2013 Hi. I currently have an S4 (2 bedroom) booked on the Getaway for next August. There are 5 of us so I'm somewhat concerned about the space. I would like us to be in the actual Haven. Are there Spa or "regular" cabins in the Haven that would just sleep for 2 and 3? I would not need a suite if it is just 2 or 3 people but we want to be in the Haven, not on another deck. Thank you very much.
mpk218 Posted September 11, 2013 #2 Share Posted September 11, 2013 I think Im reading your post correctly . The Haven is for Suites only .. So a "regular": cabin will do you no good if as you say "we want to be in the Haven" Book the suite . All the other perks that go with that will out way the one person sleeping on a rollaway or the foldout.. Just my 2 ;)
Fishbait17 Posted September 11, 2013 #3 Share Posted September 11, 2013 Since only suites have access to the Haven, the only cabins located in the actual Haven would be suites. The least expensive suite actually located within the Haven would be the S5 - Haven Courtyard Penthouse with Balcony. These would sleep two-three guests each. There are some less expensive suites on the ship that provide access to the Haven, but are not located right there. In order to access the Haven, you must be booked in a suite (with a designator S followed by a number, which all suites on the Getaway are). When I said "regular" cabin in the Haven, I actually meant a smaller suite. Staying in the Haven is the priority. So, the only cabins available RIGHT IN the actual Haven are the Courtyard Penthouses and the 2 bedroom suites. So I guess two Courtyard Penthouses would most certainly cost more than one 2 bedroom suite but I will take a look. I was wondering what actual less expensive suites are in the actual Haven area, other than the 2 bedroom suite, which now I learned is the Courtyard Penthouses. Being in the actual Haven area is the first priority, cabin is second. Thank you very much.

There are also Owner's Suites and Deluxe Owner's Suites in the Haven, but they are generally the two highest priced suites on the ship, higher than the Two Bedroom and the Courtyard Penthouses. Robin Thank you Robin. I found this out yesterday LOL To move to two different suites in the Haven instead of the 2 bedroom will cost a little over $4K so we are sticking where we are :) I did call my TA last night since I was interested in seeing about another date (we are sailing August 9) due to my ds's baseball schedule but every S4 was booked from beginning of July through my sailing (or so said the TA). We are staying put where we are but I guess with the limited amount in the Haven, they get scooped up fast, even with other TAs taking them and selling through their agency. Thank you again.
