Princess Aruba Shore Excursions

I have wish listed AUA-655 (Semi-Submarine, Shipwreck & Island Drive) and AUA-670 (Atlantis Submarine Expedition).

The Semi-Sub tour includes sightseeing around the island, lasts 4 hours, and costs less. The Atlantis Sub goes down much further underwater but costs a lot for 2 hours.

Anybody have experience or suggestions?

DH & I went on the sub for a special "anniversary celebration" in 2011 and thought it was worth every penny. How many other times do you have a chance to sit on the bottom of the ocean?

Apologies for the thumbnail size, but I've uploaded three times and this is the best I can get today...:(

We have done the Atlantis at St. Thomas and Cozumel. Well worth the money. Our first trip was in 1987. We paid $96 then and we made a whole lot less money 26 years ago! So beautiful, that I was ready to take up scuba diving...until the 14 foot shark swam right by my window. Then I was glad to be inside the sub.

We have done the Semi sub at Grand Cayman. It was nice, but you are just under the water level and the bottom of the ocean moved further away. So unless there are raised coral beds or the semi sub stays in shallow waters; you will probably see more with the Atlantis. At Grand Cayman you go over a wreck, you cruise among raised coral formations, they feed huge fish right by the windows, AND you get to snorkeling, too. So it was a good trip. Can you get more details?
