Eliana,

the website is in Spanish, but you can see the main places for a 24h visit to Buenos Aires...it can give you some ideas of places to visit: http://www.turismo.buenosaires.gob.ar/es/recorrido/buenos-aires-en-24-hs

All my visits to Buenos Aires were by ship so I only got an excursion once to go to the Tango (Señor Tango)... the other 3 times I've been there I explored the city without any tour.. visited Puerto Madero (excellent restaurants), Boca Juniors Stadium, Caminito (amazing place), Recoleta, Palermo, Calle Florida (very famous but be careful there, too many people, watch your purse!), and Esquina Carlos Gardel Tango..

In one of our visits we rent a van from the Sheraton Buenos Aires, the price was good and we visited the main spots of the city!

You could also take a day to visit the Lujan Zoo which is near Buenos Aires!
