sign up for cruise while on a cruise

The majority of the time we just buy the future cruise deposits to get the extra shipboard credit. Then later we can choose what cruise we want.

That is what we do.

I purchase FCD's to use when we get home, at our leisure.

I don't want to spend my vacation time making an appointment with the Future Cruise Consultant at their convenience.

We get all the same benefits and we do so when we feel like it.

If you do that, you should remember if you do not specify which TA you would be using, the booking will default to the TA you used to book the cruise you are on. You can specify they should list it as HAL in house booking and when you are ready to book, you can use any TA you want.

If you default to TA of record, you need their permission to use anyone else and that permission can be hard to get.
