TRUNK BAY- What types of Food/alcohol/beach chairs, etc??

Going to Trunk Bay in a few weeks and wanted to know what types of amenities are there to enjoy?? Umbrella, chairs, food place and beer or alcohol to consume...any help is appreciated...

I do not recall seeing any chairs or umbrellas, unless people brought them along with them. There are nice restrooms and showers, for a public facility. There is limited food and drink, including beer and other alcoholic drinks. Nothing fancy-- people go to Trunk Bay because of its natural beauty and snorkeling.

2 Pinacoladas is correct there is no place to rent chairs or umbrellas. You can rent snorkel equipment though and they do have nice bathrooms/showers. Its a national park so the food/drink options are limited to a little snack bar. Its gorgeous there though! Have fun!!!

They do have chair rentals. I have been to Trunk Bay many times and rented the last time that I was there, January 2012. The little dive shop that rents the snorkel equipment has them. They are the low sand chairs, no loungers. You have to provide a credit card imprint for a security deposit. You can pay with cash or with your CC when you return the chair, they will return your CC imprint. There are no umbrellas, but plenty of natural shade.

There is food there as well. However, I plan on buying a sub at Deli Grotto in Cruz Bay and taking it with me to the beach when I go there in November. The last time I bought food at Trunk bay, it was really BAD. I got a stomachache from my hamburger.

Yes they do, it is directly accross from the snack bar.

 

There is a hefty deposit to rent a chair, there are both small sand chairs and large plastic loungers.

Weird I was there for a week last June and never saw them being rented. We had our own chairs given we had rented a house for the week. Glad to stand corrected though as sitting on sand isn't very comfortable!

I will get exact numbers but I believe the deposit was $25.00 and the rental itself was $10.00 or $15.00. there are different sized chairs, so I want to make sure I am accurate. I will get back to you with more details after I ask my friends, who were the ones who actually paid for the rentals.

• how much money to bring for food / drinks (beer, pina coladas, etc)
  
• can you bring your own lunch
  
• other than snorkeling, what type of water activities do they have and their related costs
