punkincc Posted September 20, 2013 #2 Share Posted September 20, 2013 On another "Vibe" thread currently on the first page here, a cruiser reported he arrived at the pier at 9:00am to find 150 to 200 people in line ahead of him. If that is the case, I don't think you'd have much chance of getting a pass, arriving at 10:00. If it is really important to you, I'd get there at 9:00 or even earlier and go straight to Guest Services on boarding. They only sell about 50 passes. sailingnut Posted September 20, 2013 #3 Share Posted September 20, 2013 I once thought it was important but changed my mind about it~~not worth getting to the pier that early when there are other places on the ship to go, each their own!:)
jdvmd Posted September 20, 2013 #4 Share Posted September 20, 2013 Is it just me? I see people arriving earlier and earlier to the ships these days.
punkincc Posted September 20, 2013 #5 Share Posted September 20, 2013 Is it just me? I see people arriving earlier and earlier to the ships these days. Agreed. It used to be that 10:00 or so was early! I wonder if it is port specific. NYC would probably have tons of passengers who drive in from surrounding areas and might tend to arrive very early versus Miami where most probably fly in, many the morning of, which would make it difficult to get there super early. I hope it is not just the Vibe pass which is causing the 9:00 or earlier crowds.
