Zuiderdam Entertainment

Does anyone know anything about the entertainment on Zuiderdam now. We'll be on in a month with family and are just wondering. Anyone know if DWTS is still going on? Has the Memphis Blues club been expanded fleet wide?

Thank you!!

No - the Memphis Blues Club has not gone fleet wide. JMO -- but I hope they don't go fleet wide. We are not Blues Fans.

When the Zuiderdam does get to the Caribbean to start her partial Panama Canal cruises, usually a group called Island Magic will be on. They are a steel drum group that plays all types of music. When we were on the ship they did an evening show and an afternoon show.

Honestly, I'm not a blues fan either, but they brought such a great vibe to our sailing in March...and it seemed like people were out much later to attend their shows. They just seemed to bring a wonderful bit of energy to the ship at night.

The first time I was on the Zuiderdam I thought the entertainment was pretty good. Subsequent cruises on the Zuiderdam not so much. The entertainers and cruise director on the Alaska run might not be the same ones heading south. If you're lucky that is!

Just off the Zuiderdam this morning and not sure if the entertainment will be the same in a month. In the Vista show lounge I saw one of the best performances by the Zuiderdam singers and dancers called "In Concert" and it was so good we were there for both the 8pm and 10pm shows. The comedian was Derrick Cameron-my husband went but I'm not a fan of comedians. He said he was ok. The magician/illusionist was James Cielen who was pretty good.

They did have DWTS competition still on as well.

What we enjoyed the most was the solo guitarist Michael Simons who was in the Crow's Nest. No Memphis Blues.
