Sevencruiser Posted September 21, 2013 #1 Share Posted September 21, 2013 We are considering booking Fantasy for a February cruise. I thought about posting several threads to get some input about some questions, but I figured why not consolidate them here and see what happens. In no particular order: 1. We have never cruised out of Charleston. Our last cruise we purchased FTTF and really appreciated it. However, that was in Miami, where we dropped off luggage at the curb at 11:23 and we were unpacked and exploring the ship/having lunch at 11:50. (I time stamped it on my iPhone) It was like an extra day really. Would it be worth it in Charleston where my understanding is that you can't even drop off luggage until noon anyway? 2. Some of the threads about the latest Fantasy dry dock initially said the Hasbro game shows would be added, and then after the post dry dock reviews showed up, it was a no. But since then have the Hasbro game shows been added? If so, what does a five day cruise evening entertainment schedule look like? I'm pretty sure I've confirmed that Fantasy now has the "Brits" Show and "Motor City", but what about the other nights? Do they do Hasbro more than one night? Is there still a passenger talent show and a marriage show? 3. Has sushi been replaced by the taste bar? If so, is the taste bar a comparable replacement for an early appetizer before dinner, similar to sushi? 4. This is not Fantasy specific, but Fantasy class specific. We have not done an inside cabin in a while. In fact I think our last inside was on the Fantasy 20 years ago. But we are thinking about an inside on Verandah deck because of its location being only steps from the pool and atrium; locations we tend to spend a lot of time during the week. Our concern would be any noise issues here, because we have been all over the ship and motion is not an issue anywhere on any ship. I don't like being on long hallways where there is traffic all day and night. 5. Last, we haven't cruised since January '13. What's new? LOL.... Essiesmom Posted September 22, 2013 #2 Share Posted September 22, 2013 I think common consensus is that those are pretty quiet cabins, as there is no traffic through those corridors other than the few people who know about the doors to the forward observation deck (also reached from stairs from Lido). Dottierainbow Posted September 23, 2013 #3 Share Posted September 23, 2013 We went on Fantasy 9/16/13 and dropped off our luggage around 11 am. We were on ship a little after noon. I did not see a Sushi Bar. They did have Brits and the other Show you mentioned as well as Hasbro games, Marriage game, Bingo, Men's Hairy Chest contest, and etc.... Also Comedy Punchliners as well and Karaoke and Super Star Karaoke.

EM Thats what I was thinking. Not a lot of cabins on that deck, so not much traffic, but the variable was the observation deck, and being close to the atrium, so I wasn't sure.
