Deputycruise Posted September 22, 2013 #1 Share Posted September 22, 2013 What are your favourite on oars activities either with Princess Cruises or other lines you would like to see on Princess. What would you like to see more of less of on princess when it comes to activities?

GradUT Posted September 22, 2013 #3 Share Posted September 22, 2013 I haven't sailed on a Princess cruise with MUTS yet (the Island got it after we sailed on it), but I know that would drive me CRAZY! I could play trivia and other similar games all day long. I'm glad Princess offers a good variety of them instead of stupid poolside contests (e.g. hairy chest, etc.)
pcsunlover Posted September 22, 2013 #4 Share Posted September 22, 2013 More live music around the pool, less daytime MUTS which is very annoying. I find it just as annoying to have live music if you aren't that impressed with the band.
Pam in CA Posted September 22, 2013 #5 Share Posted September 22, 2013 Lectures. I've gone to very interesting lectures while onboard ship. John Maxtone-Graham is a "don't miss" lecturer. On another line, the curator of the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum gave a series of lectures on the US space program, past, present and future. sunsetbeachgal Posted September 22, 2013 #6 Share Posted September 22, 2013 I agree with Pam...we loved the lecturers on both the Panama Canal and Alaska Cruises...seems as is most of the port talk lectures now revolve around shopping...
Cruisin' Chick Posted September 23, 2013 #7 Share Posted September 23, 2013 I hope the live music continues on board. If I don't like that particular type of music, or the musician(s), I can usually go elsewhere. The ship's are big enough. Also love the trivia matches. The downer when it comes to the trivia matches is when the questions are just from one source. That makes it easier for whoever writes the questions, but there's been a few times that the source they use is wrong. I can certainly do without the crazy pool contests that are on certain cruise lines -- the ones that are noisy and crass, IMO. Hopefully, the Princess CDs will know not to bring them on board. RNGALNG Posted September 24, 2013 #8 Share Posted September 24, 2013 Love Pam's idea as well! Love learning things! Also love trivia time. The art auctions can go as well as bingo. Not my cup of tea. I also liked at one time you could do ceramics. Craft things would be fun too! I have made cards and ribbon leis. More crafts would be great!
