tbmrt Posted September 23, 2013 #1 Share Posted September 23, 2013 Received info that early dinner will be at 5:30 and late at 7:30pm. Since ship sails at 7pm, I guess late diners won't see much of sailaway. Would be nice if late dining was at 8pm as on most other cruiselines from what I remember. That's a tight time between the 2 sittings. It is usually 2.5 hours. Maybe they are expecting Us passengers to not to want to linger at dinner and take as long as others do. Maybe they will make adjustments for embarkation day, since you'll also have to complete muster drills, etc. 7:30 sounds *perfect* to me. I hope MSC-USA keeps these dinner times out of Miami. I prefer the 2nd seating, but also don't like eating too late. I think the North American market (for the most part) is accustomed to eating earlier than the European market. Thank you MSC-USA for making accommodations for our market...yes including water and coffee in the dining room! :)
AmoMondo Posted September 24, 2013 #4 Share Posted September 24, 2013 In the past, they've done open seating on the first night.
tbmrt Posted September 24, 2013 Author #5 Share Posted September 24, 2013 In the past, they've done open seating on the first night. That would be wonderful. I think 7:30 is a great time for late dining other than on the first night due to muster and sailaway!
