Thanksgiving day in Miami

Recommended Posts

We are taking a short cruise on the day after Thanksgiving, but flying into Miami 2 days pre-cruise.

Staying at the Hampton Inn Brickell.

Can anyone give suggestions what we can do on Thanksgiving day, when everything is closed and everyone is having turkey with their families???

I have found that it is just nice to stroll around Miami on a Holiday when there is very little traffic. If you like to walk take a cab over to South Beach and walk the boardwalk and then walk around South Beach.

Then be sure to enjoy a nice Thanksgiving Meal in Miami.

This sounds nice, indeed. Thanks!

Any Miami local know if there are ANY stores open on this day?
