Cozumel to Cancun

We will be on the Magic next week. Where do we need to go to get the ferry to Cancun? Would like to check it out.

The ferry is downtown, near the Punta Langosta pier... but it goes to Playa del Carmen, not Cancun. You'd be looking at a 30-45 minute cab ride from Playa del Carmen to Cancun. Add a half hour for the ferry each way, and you're talking about 2½ hours of travel time.

Thats 2 1/2 hours if the stars line up! Plan for longer.

There is a lot of interesting things to do on Coz itself that IMO it would be hard for me to justify going to the mainland, but YMMV. Whatever you decide to do, enjoy the trip!

Cozumel is much nicer than Cancun, unless you are 18-24 & really into the party scene. Feels safer too
