iPod Docking Stations in Cabin

Can anyone tell me if there are docking stations in the ocean view cabins on the Allure? I read somewhere about docking stations in cabins but wanted to know if they are in every cabin or just junior suites and above.

If they do have them, I'd bet it s the old plug, so if you have a 5th generation or newer .... you might want to bring an adapter.

They are in every room from what I recall. However if you have an iPod Touch with the new adaptor or an iPhone 5, you will be out of luck.

I called RCI and was told that I would have to bring an adapter. Also, told that if my cabin does not have a docking station to ask the cabin steward for one. Good to know!

It would be safer to bring an adaptor, even if the cabin had one. Even if the cabin has one, it may be broken, and you may end up with a flat Apple device.

Are there docking stations on Oasis? I was last on in 2010 but I do not remember any docking stations. If not, hopefully this is something RC will add during dry dock in 2014.

When I was on Oasis last September, there was none in our balcony cabin. I packed a small lightweight docking station/speaker in my carryon. No problem. Maybe something has changed since last year.

Exactly, very useful on the Allure. It's only makes sense that Oasis should have the same. Hopefully after dry dock.
