Bluebury Posted September 27, 2013 #1 Share Posted September 27, 2013 Hi - we are going on the Azura to see David Essex. Well, husband is not that bothered really about David Essex. Does anyone know when he will be performing and what the procedure is? I hear that it is not a free for all and that each person gets a ticket - is that right? Ifoundmydream Posted September 27, 2013 #3 Share Posted September 27, 2013 This thread made me laugh, sorry, my husbands always saying to my teenage daughter "we can't all swan around like David Essex". Se has no idea who he is. I think he has lovely eyes :D
soobs Posted September 27, 2013 #4 Share Posted September 27, 2013 when I was a teenager I used to love him and my Mum was a little in love too she's now 87 but still says he had nice eyes
CCFC Posted September 27, 2013 #5 Share Posted September 27, 2013 Had a leaflet through today. It doesn't say how many nights he performs but there are plenty of sea days on a transatlantic. The itinerary is Southampton, Ponta Delgada, Antigua, St Maarten, St Kitts, Dominica, Barbados. I would imagine he wont be on for the whole cruise. My guess is he will be in the main theatre after dinner, hard to tell until you get aboard. Prices are quite a bargain if you don't mind all those sea days. Marym1 Posted September 27, 2013 #6 Share Posted September 27, 2013 Another fan here. P&O have told me that each passenger will have a ticket allocated to them. We were lucky enough to have front row tickets last year for the show at Birmingham Symphony hall . It was a great show. I understand that he will be on board when we get to the Caribbean rather than the full cruise. Hope this helps
AlisonH Posted September 27, 2013 #7 Share Posted September 27, 2013 We've done a 'Russell Watson' cruise and a 'Strictly' cruise and for both of these they allocated tickets to a specific show to ensure everyone had a chance to see the shows. Enjoy - it sounds fun!
