Anybody recently gotten any price drops for holiday sailing? we went last year over New Years and booked Oct 30th and this years price are $500 more........ they had those three ships stranded :( what the heck??

When I started watching pricing for Sunshine New Year's cruise out of NOLA in April, it showed $949 pp inside. I booked it earlier this month for $669 pp. I think that is a pretty good drop, but I thought all along that $949 inside was pretty optimistic on Carnival's part, and I certainly wasn't willing to pay that for Carnival. LOL. JMHO.

 

Final payment for 7 day New Year's cruises will be due in early October, so you might see more price drops after that. Good luck.

Congratulations, Mary. I think we all need something to be excited about these days. Takes the edge off of all that mess coming out of Washington. Time to start your countdown!

My New Years cruised jumper $200+ today:eek: why?? Becaue they have a "sale" offering $200 OBC...Really... I sure hope people have been watching and don't go "swell what a great deal" LOL!...:rolleyes:

Last year we had over $1000 OBC for our New Years cruise. This year we have $0! The rates keep going up. Today they are up $170 pp! Yikes :eek:!
