nana by 2 Posted September 29, 2013 #1 Share Posted September 29, 2013 My husband is a diabetic and some meds need to be refrigerated. Do you know if they allow a small fridge in a state room???
MedicKen Posted September 29, 2013 #2 Share Posted September 29, 2013 Make sure you contact the Special Needs department at RCI and they will provide a refrigerator for you. The "coolers" in the cabin are not sufficent for meds. All that being said. All the injectable meds I have run into, including mine, can usually last for 30 days without refrigeration. Ask your Healthcare professional about your case. PLEASE DO NOT take medical advice from any source other than your MD.
