Your Recommendations for: Cabo, Loreto, La Paz, and Puerto Vallarta

Researching a Princess California Coastal, including the following four ports:

 

Cabo,

Loreto

La Paz

Puerto Vallarta

 

Do you have any recommendations for shore activities in any of these ports?

 

Also, I've read that there are limited activities in Loreto. My friend would like to have a massage, and I'm thinking that they may have some good deals at the spa on a shore day, so she might do it then.

 

Since this cruise leaves from/returns to San Francisco there will be six sea days. She could do the massage on one of those, but if there is limited stuff to do in Loreto that might be a better bet. Any thoughts on that would be appreciated.

 

I'm especially interested in hearing of any private excursions which you can recommend for any of these ports.

If you read down the board, all of those ports are covered, although less coverage for La Paz and Loreto.

 

It would also be good to know when you are going, as during the right time, whale watching will be a top activity in PV and Cabo.

We are still considering dates, but early October seems a possibility. I'm getting the sense that is a bit early for whales?

Too early for whales. Still in hurricane season.
