bguppies Posted October 3, 2013 #9 Share Posted October 3, 2013 Just remember no cruiseline gets the Sunday Ticket like the bars at home... It will just be whatever random games the CBS and FOX feed the ship is getting, have. I love watching every September when we cruise, people walking up to the bar, asking for their game, and getting all bent out of shape, when it is the Jags versus Buffalo as THE choice. They'll show the Sunday night game and the Monday night game, but for the 1:00 and 4:30 games they'll only show one of each. I believe that's determined by whatever the satellite chooses. Mommy oooo Posted October 3, 2013 #14 Share Posted October 3, 2013 Several years ago on board one of RCCL's ships, they have the game on a big screen in the ice skating rink. That was way cool. Nothing like watching football on a ship( to bad we sail in February now) This year we get to watch almost all of the winter olympics onboard. That should be fun. ksimpso3 Posted October 4, 2013 #15 Share Posted October 4, 2013 Here was the Monday night game on the Pearl in the atrium years ago. We ate in the Blue Lagoon, so we sat there and watched the game. The sports bar also had the games on. We are huge Giants fans (I know, I know....not so hot this year:o), and we have always been able to watch the Giants on any cruise we were on! ksimpso3 Posted October 4, 2013 #17 Share Posted October 4, 2013 since I'm American..."real football" is "American football". Your "football" is called soccer in America Sent from my SPH-D710 using Forums mobile app
Partyatsea Posted October 5, 2013 #18 Share Posted October 5, 2013 From our experience the ship will show a game in each time slot. 1 and 4 o'clock they seem to show the most interesting game nationally, not necessarily based on the port sailed from. FNIA, MNF & ThNF we have always gotten. NCL does a good job with the NFL and often the games and where the will be showing are listed in the Freestyle Daily.
