cruznlobo Posted October 2, 2013 #3 Share Posted October 2, 2013 Call but don't give out any credit card or personal info. Then decide if it's for real. Sounds Hokey to me!
~Christie~ Posted October 2, 2013 #4 Share Posted October 2, 2013 I got one of those a while back and when I called to check on it, it was for a time-share. We would have had to make a trip about 3 1/2 hours one way to the meeting and then we would have been given a 4 day cruise if we completed all the time-share requirements. We decided to decline. montekat Posted October 2, 2013 #7 Share Posted October 2, 2013 This offer says"This Is Not A Timeshare Or Land Sales Offer" I called one time just for sh*ts and giggles. It was for a "vacation club" and would have cost me more than just booking it on my own. You had to sign up for a certain level, such as gold, and then pay more for each level beyond that. Not worth it at all!

Stifler Posted October 2, 2013 #9 Share Posted October 2, 2013 My MIL did something similar to that last year and was given a $500 off a Carnival cruise voucher (I told her good luck trying to use that) Well, this past August she and my wife were wanting to go on the Freedom and lo and behold she called the agency that the coupon had to be redeemed thru and they were able to book a balcony for $467 total. Bobby_Mac Posted October 2, 2013 #10 Share Posted October 2, 2013 This offer says"This Is Not A Timeshare Or Land Sales Offer" We got the same one. I assume it is for some sort of vacation club. We get these every now and then. Not interested.
cruiseonthebrain Posted October 2, 2013 #11 Share Posted October 2, 2013 We recieved that also for a vacation club. And it would have been a very short cruise in a less than great cabin. Totally not worth it.

SkyMaster Posted October 2, 2013 #20 Share Posted October 2, 2013 We too, received that card, and we too, found out it was a vacation club, where everything cost more than you could buy it for anywhere else. TOSS IT IN THE CAN! "SKY"
Rosethorn40 Posted October 2, 2013 #21 Share Posted October 2, 2013 This offer says"This Is Not A Timeshare Or Land Sales Offer" It may be for a travel club. It works somewhat like a time share, but because you don't have a "unit" that you buy a share in it's not technically a time share.
