funnysocks Posted October 3, 2013 #1 Share Posted October 3, 2013 We have our first cruise booked but of course we want to see if prices drop so we can get a cheaper rate! Is there one particular website that is good to check? Are they all fairly consistent? Feels like I am always checking!!!!
CruiserBruce Posted October 3, 2013 #2 Share Posted October 3, 2013 The best website for a price drop is probably the cruise line's website, because I am not sure cruise line is going to match or beat the fare a TA might be offering. So if you got a fare of X, and a TA suddenly has $100 less than X, I am not sure the cruise would even recognize that. But if the cruise line's website is $100 less than X, you will most likely get that fare drop.
gram2trips Posted October 3, 2013 #3 Share Posted October 3, 2013 Check the cruise line website...my TA said they are not allowed to discount the cruises...they can give OBC & other perks but the price is pretty standard unless there is a promotion running... Keith1010 Posted October 3, 2013 #4 Share Posted October 3, 2013 I agree. Just check the cruise line site from time to time. Also sign up for their promotional e mails. Keith
Krazy Kruizers Posted October 3, 2013 #5 Share Posted October 3, 2013 If you have the time, you can check online websites (which we are not allowed to mention here) and see their prices. But read the fine print carefully -- many of them don't disclose everything and some of them will even charge you a fee if you decide to cancel the cruise before final payment.
