If your doing a B2B on the same ship and have the same cabin for both do you get to stay on the ship once your docked?

No, you will be escorted off the ship and right back on, but home land security requires the ship be cleared of passengers.you will be the last ones off the ship, and the only ones on the ship for 30-45 min.

Yep! You'll have to get off briefly, walk through customs (guided by a Carnival Crew Member) and then back on the ship to await all the new passengers. It's awesome! You'll get specific instructions on your last night of the first leg. You can also get off and explore the home port, if you want, but we think it's more fun to wander around an empty ship and pretend it's our own private yacht!

All above is correct. We did a B2B on Liberty in May. We were given instructions to meet at guest services around 9:30 "ish", we were given new sail & sign cards, escorted off to customs and right back on. We already had our bathing suits on and my daughter and I as well as another older couple, went to Lido, put our things on a chair and cannon balled into the pool. We had a DOD as soon as the Lido bar opened and we had a great "perch" to watch everyone board. It was awesome!

We loved it SO much we are doing another on Elation next month! I can't even begin to explain the excitement of not having to pack after the first leg and walk by all the suitcases in the halls knowing we were not leaving!

We have our 3rd B2B booked on the Glory for December and we can hardly wait. Since we fly from Kansas a B2B just seems to make sense....2 cruises for the price of one airline ticket.

We have always had the same cabin so it becomes our home away from home for 14 nights. We love knowing that we will not be getting off after the first 7 days. Both times our turn around day has been smooth and simple. Meet at a designated time and place (depends on the number of B2B) and you are given new sail and sign cards and escorted off and back on the ship. We love being the first back on the lido deck and watching the new group of cruisers come on board.

We did a B2B on the Fascination this past April and did not have to leave the ship. We were told to be at Guest Services desk at 10am, we were met by one of the ships officers, we gave her our next boarding pass and customs slips. She told us to wait there, she'd be right back. 10 or so minutes later she gave us our new S&S cards and we had the ship to ourselves for a while. Never left the ship.

I'll tell you how the Elation does it when we finish our next B2B in November!:D

Cheers!

All of our b2b's we have been given a paper telling us where and when to meet. Then given new S & S cards, walked off the ship and right back on. Very easy.

if you want to get off ship between cruises you are given an in transit pass,

when you return you show the in transit pass to the Carnival people so you don't have to wait in the long line up if there is one, you go through security again and just re board the ship with your new sale and sign card. Do let guest service know on your first cruise that you are doing a back to back.

If Alaska B2B from Vancouver , you don't have to get off the ship at all.

Same way for me on B2B "Paradise" recently. They ask us to come to the pursers desk on debarkation morning. Issued the new Sign-n-Sail card, then told us to walk over to the door where they were "dinging" people aboard, and get "dinged in". That was it. FANTASTIC!
