Hampton in 12th Ave. Fort Lauderdale

We are staying at. Hampton Inn on 12th ave in Fort Lauderdale and would like to know if there are any stores and restaurants within walking distance? Any info would be appreciated.

There are dozens of restaurants and a few stores. If you use google maps or mapquest you will see them.

We too are staying at this hotel next weekend before our cruise. Trying to find a good spot to catch some college football games at a local sports bar. Anyone with some suggestions?

Sorry, I gave info on the wrong hotel above. Slackers on S.R. 84 should have the games on.

 

There are a few restaurants in the area. Old Heidelberg is probably the best. The others are mostly take out and fast food. There is also Winn Dixie, Big Lots, and a liquor store.
