Trying to find the cost of wines onboard

We checked into the wine packages and found it would have been a little cheaper to purchase bottles outside the package for the ones we really like....and not necessarily the most expensive ones listed in the package.

For example, we happen to like KJ Chardonnay -- $99 for 3 bottles but if we bought it separately, I think it was more like $30 per bottle. So, maybe a mark up of about 3 times above grocery store prices...which isn't bad for a restaurant. We really didn't think their mark ups were horrendous by any means.

A glass of wine ranges from $6.50 for an inexpensive wine, $8.50 - $12.00 for4 a decent glass and way more for a fine wine.

Thanks for the replies I have the classic drinks package and if I go for a wine that is 7.5 dollars does that include tax?

My husband upgraded to the premium package and received 30% off each bottle of wine we purchased for dinner. He is a wine snob, and the sommelier realized that immediately. She even brought "good" wine glasses each night for us, and tried to keep his wines at the right temperature. :D:D
