Just found out that UBP is not available for our cruise :(. Anyone have pics of a current drink menu so I can try and form some sort of drink budget?

Wouldn't the amount of available funds dictacte the drink budget far more directly than what they happen to charge for an indivdual drink?

Available funds is not an issue...just want to know what to budget based on a typical day...hard to do when you don't know costs of individual drinks!

Well average with 15% tips: $6-6.50 for beer, $7-10 wine by the glass, $7.50-$9.50 for cocktails and frozen drinks (not including drinks of the day in souvenir cups), shots $4-7ea.

Sorry, I still don't get it. If funds are not an issue, then your drink budget is unlimited.

However if you only have $70 to budget each day then it is the money, not the price of the drink, that determines your budget. IOW if drinks are $10 ea, then you can have 7 per day on a $70 budget. However, if the drinks are $7 ea, then you can have 10 per day...again on the same $70 budget. I can determine my $70 per day budget solely based on the available funds...I don't even need to know what the drinks cost.

The budget is determined by the money....not the quantity.

Monalis....thanks for the input. I have seen that same drink menu list...was just wondering if the prices had changed much since that menu is from January/12.

Seashark...sorry you don't get the concept of wanting to know how much drinks cost so that you can budget for it. Don't know why wanting to know drink prices is such a secretive thing with you cruise people! I can do the math thanks...don't need your smart ass comments :(

Someone posted pictures of the little cards with the drinks of the day on them, and the drinks ran just about the same prices that were on that other menu. Just don't forget to figure in the 15% service charge added to each drink.

For the budget conscious, you are hard pressed to beat the happy hour in the Star Bar. I'd gladly pay a $20 cover charge for an upscale appetizer selection to accompany happy hour as an alternative to lobsters the size of your thumb on lobster night.

The OP is going on a charter. There is no such thing for them.

Buckets of beer are popular. 6 for the price of 5 and they give you a bucket w ice to carry around. Perfect for taking to shows.

So...can you take a bucket of beer into the theatre?

You wouldn't have a link to those drink card pics would you? Also, how big are the drinks? I know at all-inclusive resorts, the drinks tend to be just a bit larger than a Dixie cup. I can't believe no one has any drink pics!

I've been trying to find the thread, but haven't found it yet. And the drinks are normal sizes that you'd get at a bar.
