Sorry I cannot remember the number of times round is a mile but I do remember that there is a line dividing the jogging track, one side for walkers and one for joggers. It was on a high deck.

Any one know how many times around on the royal is a mile? What about the Promenade? We loved walking the Promenade and didn't mind the steps on the other Princess ships. Is the Royal's promenade wide enough for walkers? Thanks.

A) A bunch... 7

Not sure what they were thinking when thy put the walker/lookers on the inside away from the view. But then again ... they weren't thinking much !

B) wide enough? yes... long enough? No where useful

Seven laps = 1 mile.

As for the Promenade, there really isn't one. At least, not one such as you are used to. There are platforms on the Promenade Deck where you can step outside and stand or sit. But they do not connect to anything and therefore you cannot do any real "walking" around on them in the manner to which you are accustomed.

Edit to add: Lots of simultaneous posts saying the same thing!!
