Fort Lauderdale Homewood Suites

Does anyone have any information about the Homewood Suites in Fort Lauderdale? Does anyone know if they will allow you to park there for the week while you are on a cruise?

I don't know if Homewood offers free parking but it is owned by the same people who own the Fairfield Inn & Suites directly next door. Fairfield does allow free parking - up to 21 days, I think. These hotels also have a shuttle service after 4 PM which will take you to several area restaurants. One is the Rustic Inn - very good for seafood.

I would just call Homewood and ask - if not, you can consider the Fairfield.

We just came off a Princess cruise and stayed at the Homewood Suites. They kept our car for free for the 18 days we were gone. They dropped us at the air port in the morning of our flight for free but cruise port pick up was $10 a person. They will help arrange that before you leave.

We booked thru AAA and cost was just over $100 for the one night stay.
