Bad Dog Posted October 13, 2013 #1 Share Posted October 13, 2013 (edited) Hi all This is my first post on CC so please be patient with my questions. I have only been on one cruise before with MSC through the Med and Greek Islands 3 years ago. Cruise ok but language barrier was somewhat frustrating. SWMBO has done 3 previous cruises on P&O ships from Aus and had a ball. We both love travel and in particular Europe. We both still work as it is good for ones mental state and keeps you young. We both plan to indulge in more cruises as time goes on. We have taken the plunge to indulge on this trip and have booked a mini stateroom on the EP. We have opted for anytime dining as we do not know any body yet who will be on the cruise. Can any body please give me the heads up on the ship and Baltic. Keith1010 Posted October 13, 2013 #3 Share Posted October 13, 2013 I too wanted to welcome you to Cruise Critic. Your post is great as are your questions. I too would post all of your Princess related questions on the Princess Board. And remember. The only bad question is that one you have but don't ask. Rare Scrapnana Posted October 13, 2013 #5 Share Posted October 13, 2013 Welcome to Cruise Critic! I cruised the Baltic at the same time of year. Hopefully, you will have as nice weather. On a two week cruise we only had one drizzly, cool day. Temperatures were just about perfect - not too hot or too cold. You get a lot of "old world charm" in the cities you visit on a Baltic cruise. Be sure to take a good two day tour in St. Petersburg so you can get a taste of the amazing sites in this city. Many people do private excursions with some reputable companies you can find on the ports of call forum. We took the ship's excursions and found them excellent. Hope you enjoy your cruise!
