Disfan5 Posted October 15, 2013 #1 Share Posted October 15, 2013 Has anyone run into a waiter named Sunshine on NCL? I'm going on my second NCL cruise and we had the best waiter our first cruise on the Norwegian Sea in 1999. My boys were really little and they fell asleep on one of the formal nights so my husband stayed in the cabin with them. Sunshine fixed a tray with dinner and a couple extra lobsters and we delivered it to my husband in our cabin. It was my husband's favorite formal night ever! He was able to wear shorts and he didn't even have to go to the MDR.

One source reports that the average is 5 years http://www.cruisemates.com/articles/feature/cruiseshipwork.cfm But you never know, someone here may know Sunshine and be able to give you an update.
