retire2cruise55 Posted October 19, 2013 #1 Share Posted October 19, 2013 Experienced cruiser, but this is our 1st one in November; sailing on the Magic 11/24 Western Caribbean out of Miami. I want to start packing, but not sure what to expect. Definitely packing a light jacket for nights and the plane. Will it be warm enough to swim and wear shorts? DISNEY FANTASY Posted October 19, 2013 #2 Share Posted October 19, 2013 We went on the Magic on a western seven night cruise in November and it was a great time to sail we were in T shirts, hot and sunny never cool and castaway cay was great to swim at, it's after the major storm season so a good time to cruise. GolfCartDaddy Posted October 19, 2013 #3 Share Posted October 19, 2013 I have the same question. We're sailing to the Bahamas on Nov. 24th aboard Disney Dream. How's the weather likely to be?
DISNEY FANTASY Posted October 19, 2013 #4 Share Posted October 19, 2013 I have the same question. We're sailing to the Bahamas on Nov. 24th aboard Disney Dream. How's the weather likely to be? Whilst you get the odd low, it's normally early Jan Feb, most of the time it's really nice, November should be very good. We went early November just after Halloween snd castaway was lovely, warm water clear sky's might be cool on deck in the Florida area but great in Bahamas and carribean. I have only seen reports if cool or cold water on jan few cruises that are unlucky it's not the norm then either.

moki'smommy Posted October 19, 2013 #6 Share Posted October 19, 2013 Most of the time it will be "summer in the US" type weather--high 70s-80s during the day, cooler on the deck at night. However, my packing rule is to always have one cool weather outfit, preferably something that can be layered as needed/ I got stuck once needing to buy warm clothing in the parks (no car, no warm clothes in the suitcase.) Yes, it can be done in the parks and on the ship, but your credit card begins to melt into nothingness......
yarlenna Posted October 19, 2013 #7 Share Posted October 19, 2013 I live in the Orlando area - November is a great month. BUT It is part of the Hurricane season. The weather is like spring up north. Some days are lovely and warm. Other days are cold. moki'smommy's post is right on the money. Bring layers. Even it if it is warm, remember that the ships are have lots of AC - You should have a great cruise.

e2011 Posted October 22, 2013 #11 Share Posted October 22, 2013 Who knows for sure about November but if October is any indication it is going to be warmer than normal. It is still in the 90's with 80% humidity here in eastern Florida. No change since August....
