Riemercruisin Posted October 19, 2013 #1 Share Posted October 19, 2013 Hi all! There is a brand new Cambria Suites in the Miami Blue Lagoon area. Has anyone stayed there yet? I don't wish to stay downtown. No online reviews yet, but the price looks ok and the pictures are amazing. Hope someone can tell me something about this property for a stay before my cruise. Isa65 Posted October 19, 2013 #2 Share Posted October 19, 2013 The reason why there are no reviews is because this hotel stars receiving guests on November 22nd 2013.:) I was (am) seriously considering this hotel as the pictures do look nice and it would be cool to stay in a brand new hotel. However, we need to check in on Nov 26 and I don't know whether 4 days after opening would be such a great idea. The rates are great for a deluxe King suite (2 bathrooms!!) during our stay, but for the same rate we can stay at Homewood Suites or Hyatt House which both include breakfast and evening cocktails, while Cambria doesn't. tmt218 Posted October 20, 2013 #3 Share Posted October 20, 2013 I've stayed at the Cambria Suites in Dania twice. It looks very similar. The rooms were nice. They don't have free breakfast but they do have a resturant that serves breakfast and dinner. They also had a mini mart type store to get snacks and drinks from.
