Iamthesea Posted October 19, 2013 #1 Share Posted October 19, 2013 Whenever we are in port and see an up close ship, I always take photos and share with the CC board. ;) Here are photos and a video (TO COME) of the Zuiderdam in Vancouver. Enjoy!
startwin Posted October 19, 2013 #2 Share Posted October 19, 2013 Thanks - nice photos, nice day. I have a ton of photos of HAL ships in Vancouver but try as I might, I can't figure out how to post photos on this site:o.
Iamthesea Posted October 19, 2013 Author #3 Share Posted October 19, 2013 I cannot figure out how to post a video. I tried Photobucket, but it is not uploading. It's only .20 seconds long.

MR NW GUY Posted October 20, 2013 #6 Share Posted October 20, 2013 Thanks - nice photos, nice day. I have a ton of photos of HAL ships in Vancouver but try as I might, I can't figure out how to post photos on this site:o. Here you go: How do I add an image to a post? If you have uploaded an image as an attachment, you can click the arrow next to the 'Attachment Icon' and select it from the list. This will be inserted into your post and can be located where you want it displayed. To include an image that is not uploaded as an attachment and is located on another website, you can do so by copying the full URL to the image, (not the page on which the image is located), and either pressing the 'Insert Image' icon or by typing after it, ensuring that you do not have any spaces before or after the URL of the image. You can insert pictures from your albums (?) in this way too.

startwin Posted October 20, 2013 #9 Share Posted October 20, 2013 Thanks for sharing! The Zuiderdam is next up for me. See you onboard:D And, remember 4166 is up for grabs again, if you haven't already gotten a better location. We had that one last time - double-size balcony, and great view for the transit. RJ2002 Posted October 20, 2013 #10 Share Posted October 20, 2013 See you onboard:D And, remember 4166 is up for grabs again, if you haven't already gotten a better location. We had that one last time - double-size balcony, and great view for the transit. Thanks for the tip. I just went and looked at the deck plan to see for myself. Wow, that is a big balcony. You could have a party out there! Unfortunately (for my pocketbook), we booked a Signature Suite on our last HAL cruise, and now we are hooked after having all the extra room in the cabin. We've got an SY booked for the Panama Canal, and I think we'll probably stick with that for now.

startwin Posted October 24, 2013 #15 Share Posted October 24, 2013 Are you asking about 4166 - one of the double-wide balcony cabins? No they do not look down on the tenders, you just see water.:)

frankc98376 Posted October 25, 2013 #17 Share Posted October 25, 2013 Was so disappointed on our Oosterdam cruise in May- no horns for the muster drill, departure, nothing- only time we heard the horn was in Sitka- 2 very short blasts when we left.
