I am coming from uk to Buenos Aires int airport what is the safest and cheapest way to get downtown please for 4 people ??

Taxis are plentiful at the airport. As you leave the immigration area and pass to the main lobby, in the middle you will see a blue and white stand with a taxi Ezeiza sign. Book a taxi here, pay a set fee(was about 200 pesos in 2012) and then you are escorted out to the taxi. Manuel Tienda Leon operates a bus service to the Sheraton in the centre but this is priced per person and would prob cost more.

Hi United

200 pesos for the cab or each person also their cabs big ?

Tnx Gazza

It is per taxi but cabs are not large enough for four people with luggage. Taxi Eze now charges 250 pesos. Inflation is a problem in Argentina.

You can email one of the remise (private car ) services, tell them how many you have in your party, and they will reserve you the right size vehicle. They charge a bit more than Taxi EZE, but they can arrange a larger vehicle for you.

The current rate for a standard size vehicle is using a remise is 340 pesos to the downtown area. A larger car or van will be slightly more. one dollar=about 5.8 or so at the official rate or 10 on the informal market. I am sure they will quote you a dollar rate if you ask but I don't know what that might be at the moment.

We used a Manuel Tienda Leon remise on both occasions when we arrived at Ezeiza, and were happy with their service. There were just two of us, so a standard-size remise was fine, and there was no need to pre-book that. For a larger vehicle, pre-booking would be wise. Very soon after you exit the secure baggage-claim and customs area, the Manuel Tienda Leon counter is ahead and a bit to the left (if it is in the same place as it was in 2010 and early 2013).

Take a taxi, pay inside in middle of arrival hall is a venue name is Ezeiza, where you can pay for a taxi approx $45 US and 250 AR Pesos and they take you to the taxi. Have heard a lot about the taxi ripoff in BA.

Also there is Manuel Tienda Leon just outside of security slightly on left to order a car for hire.

Not sure of their pricing. From all I have read arrange for a car or taxi before leaving the terminal.

When in town you can catch a taxi on own, not a problem, try to be sure they have a radio also if cash or credit card ask first. Have small bills in Pesos, as some will try to cheat you on change. This is from many reviews I have read. We plan on taking Pesos. Mary
