This will be my 8th trip to Nassau....my husband passed away very unexpectedly with a massive heart attack in September....so a friend is taking his place (the cruise was paid for and non-refundable) me and my husband had a tour booked with Jermaine....all we have ever done in 7 cruises is walk around and have a "cheap beer"....our 1st year we went to the Blue Lagoon and in 2007 we took a water taxi over to see the Atlantis...all we did was walk through...so basically our knowledge of Nassau is the streets right around the pier....I am thinking about canceling with Jermaine because the person going with me has only been once...and she said walking around town was fine with her.....do you know anything about this tour at all?

Jermaine is like dozens of other taxi drivers who give tours. He will take you to see the highlights of nassau or anything else you want ot see.

 

There shouldn't be a problem cancelling him and just walking around town. There is a new park where the old straw market used to be, and a brand new straw market to explore.
