SIENA6334 Posted October 23, 2013 #1 Share Posted October 23, 2013 I looked at these rooms on cruise deck plans dot com - they are categoy 8N and it says they hold 4 people. There is a couch in there - but when I try to book it for 3 people - veranda deck is never available (they are not sold out because I tried with 2). Anyone have info on this? sofietucker Posted October 23, 2013 #2 Share Posted October 23, 2013 We got an aft-facing balcony cat 8M for 2 (on Sunshine, not Breeze). If 8N is the corner wraparound, it may have the same policy as the larger aft "family" cabins on some other lines: you can't book it unless 4 or more share the room. :( Also--not your question but a word to the wise--our TA said if we book one of the larger cabins that are coded accessible, we can be bumped to another room if a wheelchair user needs to have it, even after we board.
SIENA6334 Posted October 23, 2013 Author #3 Share Posted October 23, 2013 This is the balcony right next to the wrap. I was sure it was for 3 or 4 - the empress deck is so I'm not sure why I can't do it for veranda deck.
CoconutJD Posted October 23, 2013 #4 Share Posted October 23, 2013 According to Carnival's website, the 8N cabins on deck 9 will hold 3 people and the 8N cabins on deck 8 will only hold 2. I'm not sure which deck is the Verandah deck, but if it's deck 8, that's probably the issue. Try deck 9.
