KatieCharlotte Posted October 23, 2013 #1 Share Posted October 23, 2013 I've been watching the prices on a cruise, trying to decide. It has disappeared from the booking engine today, after having rooms available in most categories two days ago. It's close enough that it could theoretically be sold out, but it's still showing prices on fareviewer and is even available on Expedia. Is this probably a website issue or is the cruise probably full/no longer available? I won't identify the cruise and cause an unnecessary mass panic. :D
KatieCharlotte Posted October 23, 2013 Author #2 Share Posted October 23, 2013 In case anyone's curious, the cruise reappeared after it was missing from the website for a couple hours. Maybe Carnival thought a little scare would push me to book? :)
bobsfamily Posted October 23, 2013 #3 Share Posted October 23, 2013 Sometimes Carnival "sells" a block of rooms to Expedia for example and has no rooms left... then will request some back if the other company is not selling well, and all of the sudden they do have rooms! Or maybe it was a gremlin which was found and dispatched....
