Captain's Club Reception

Haven't been on Celebrity in 10 years. I did a forum search for the Captain's Club Reception and nothing came up.

Is it just what the tittle says---a reception for all Captain Club menbers? Or by invitation only?

It is for all Captains Club members. You will receive a letter in your cabin which will let you know about the timing and location of the events you qualify for. Celebrity no longer issues invitations in envelopes like before - you just need to bring your key card with you which will have your Captains Club status typed onto it.

and get dressed nicely - no shorts, flip flops etc and they tend to do it around lunch time so it means getting changed half way through the day

I will be traveling with two of my sisters (in the same cabin) who are not Captain's Club members. Will they be allowed to join me?

I know from experience if you were Elite that they would be able to go to the Daily Elite Cocktail party, so I would be surprised if they were not allowed to go to the CC Celebration. If this is not clear with the paperwork in your cabin I would suggest you check with the Captain Club representative.
