Lerin Posted October 25, 2013 #1 Share Posted October 25, 2013 Though we've been on tons of cruises, we just scheduled one where for the first time ever we got On board credit! :) However, since I've never had obc I realized that I've never paid any attention to what exactly it is or how it is used. Are there any rules or exceptions to obc? It can be used for anything on the ship, yes? Gratuities, steakhouse, drinks...? Is anything not allowed? Thanks in advance. OKC Cruisers Posted October 25, 2013 #2 Share Posted October 25, 2013 Your On Board Credit is just placed on your account, so anything you can get with your room key/ship card is fair game. The amount of your OBC is just deducted from your final bill! Pete
kangaand2roos Posted October 25, 2013 #3 Share Posted October 25, 2013 The only thing I've heard that you can't use it for is a deposit on a future cruise.. Have fun!

True, however, a future cruise is booked with your credit card, not with you S & S card.
