We are swithering on whether to do the Eastern Caribbean on the Gem, but don't really like hot, hot, hot. When is it coolest?

Here's a link for weather in the Caribbean weather. (It's an old story but still applies.)

Hurricane season, often a concern for cruisers, is officially between June and November 30th. DH and I have been to the Caribbean a number of times and always had fabulous weather during the winter months. The temps in the Caribbean are moderated by the Ocean currents so while it does get hot in April and onwards it's still not bad.

Going to be setting sail to the Eastern caribbean on the gem in a little over a week, will let you know how the weather is for us.. but in reality.. you never really know.

I did a FL bahamas trip last year in early november and the warmest weather we saw was 80 degrees... I think it averaged in the high 50's low 60's the entire week. It's normally warmer there at that time, but there was a coldfront.

Whatever the weather, we know we'll have an awesome time :)
