Emerald Princess questions

Looking at some pictures of the Emerald today I could not tell if part of the Sanctuary area has an open view of the ocean. Much of it seemed to be under a dome. I could see that there is an adult pool near the sanctuary and a place for sun bathing but couldn't see if the ocean is visible from that area.

Are there dealers at the blackjack tables? The pictures and description implied electronic blackjack, poker only.

Yes, there are loungers both under the cover and out in sun that have views of the ocean. Under the cover, there are loungers around the outer edge against the glass windows. The ones out in the open would have the same ocean view as any other open deck lounger, and there's a large area of non-Sanctuary loungers just to the midships of the Sanctuary. The pool is actually one deck down from the Sanctuary, so no sea views from there.

If you do a Google Image search for Emerald Princess Sanctuary (or Crown or Ruby, since they're identical twins), you should be able to find enough photos to get a pretty good idea of the layout.

Can't help re your casino question as I don't play those games.

This may seem like a silly question, but what is the best way to access the Sanctuary on the Emerald? When I look at the Deck 17 Plan it seems like the only elevators are aft on 17. I see what looks like two winding staircases from Deck 16. Can you take the fore elevators up to 16 and then use those stairs?

Thanks,

Right, there are two (I would not call them winding) staircases on deck 16 leading up to deck 17.

For those with mobility problems, the Emerald has an ADA complient lift near one of those stairways.

Take the forward elevators to deck 16, go past the Spa desk, into the adult pool area and up the stairs to the Sanctuary.
