Considering HAL for 1st Time

We are experienced cruiser, mostly Celebrity, but thinking about HAL for a 26 night T/A B2B on to the Venice from Barcelona. Could someone tell me what HAL charges for internet access on board, and do they offer open passage future cruise specials? I need an idea of what type of OBC they offer for onboard booking. thanks

OBC for booking onboard depends on the length of the cruise you book onboard. Lately I have not found the savings worthwhile to book on board. Also, whatever they are offering for booking onboard is usually good for 30 days after you return home.

You asked about Internet access.

It will cost $3.95 to set up the account. After that you can pay by the minute at $0.75 per, or purchase a package.

The smallest package (other than very small ones at the end of the cruise, to check-in with your airline) is 100 minutes for $55.

The next package up is 250 minutes for $100.

There are two newer, longer, packages at similar or less expensive per minute rates, but I'm not sure of what they cost. Someone else will post that.

Connection time is slow. There is Wi-Fi throughout the ship, but some areas have a stronger signal than others.
